Located in the Mojave Desert, the Nevada Astronomy Center reimagines the classic drive-through as an experience of discovery and reflection. Locally sourced rammed earth walls echo the colors of the surrounding landscape while guiding visitors through a carefully composed interplay of light, shadow, and material. The design opens a dialogue between earth and sky, grounding visitors in the immediacy of place while opening them to the vastness of the cosmos. Concept development done in collaboration with Tina Lim; Jerry led 3D modeling and rendering.
