Alpha Boom Co-housing

Architecture, Visual Identity

2019/2025 Pragmatic Award Winner HOME Competition 2019

Originally developed for a design competition in 2019, Alpha Boom Co-housing explores how intergenerational living can reshape the American suburb. The project transforms an abandoned big-box store in Hazlet, New Jersey into a shared community for seniors and children, where everyday routines become opportunities for connection and care. Modest housing units, a daycare, and communal gardens intersect to encourage shared experiences across generations. In 2025, the project was reimagined through a new visual identity that extends its architectural ethos into storytelling, graphic form, and community engagement. Architectural concept developed in collaboration with Jeff Jordan Architects.
